About NolBoost
A small independent company solving one narrow, genuinely annoying problem: adding credit to a transport card without a queue.
Who we are
NolBoost is operated by NolBoost FZ-LLC, a private company registered in Dubai and trading since 2021. We are not a transport operator, a card issuer or a public body, and we do not act for one. We are a paid convenience service, and our service fee is the whole of our relationship with your money.
The team is small on purpose. Payments, fraud screening and support are the three things we do, and keeping the surface area narrow is what lets three people answer an email properly.
Why this exists
Topping up a transport card is a thirty-second task that regularly takes ten minutes. You notice the low balance at the wrong moment, the machine has a queue, the queue has someone buying a card for the first time, and your train leaves.
The alternative usually involves installing an app, creating an account, verifying an email and accepting a notification permission — for a task you will perform twice a month. We thought there was room for something you could finish before the lift reached your floor.
So the whole product is one form. It asks for a card number, an amount and an email address, and then it gets out of the way.
How we make money
The AED 2 service fee, and nothing else. We do not take a percentage of your top-up, we do not sell advertising, and we do not sell or share the data you give us. If you never pay a fee, we never earn anything from you — there is no second business model behind the first one.
That also means we would rather you topped up AED 500 once than AED 10 ten times, and we say so on the fees page. Advice that costs us money is the only kind worth trusting.
What we commit to
- The total, including the fee, is shown before you are asked to pay.
- Your bank card details are never entered on our site.
- We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
- Every page exists in English and Arabic, with the Arabic version properly laid out right to left.
- If a top-up fails because of us, you get your money back including the fee.
- We tell you what we cannot do rather than implying we can do everything.
What we are not
We are not the card issuer, and we are not connected to whoever runs the network your card works on. We cannot issue cards, replace lost ones, read balances, sell travel products or refund unused credit sitting on a card. Those all belong to the organisation that issued the card.
If you need one of those things, you are in the wrong place, and we would rather say so on this page than waste your time.
